Project 2: Digital Audio
INTRODUCTION AND LEARNING OBJECTIVE
RACES Writing Strategy Instruction: The following audio supports the project learning objective: Students can recall and, given an example, identify each step of the RACES constructed response writing strategy. The audio states each step of the RACES writing strategy from the digital image project and can be used in conjunction with the image to appeal to visual and auditory modes of learning. After reviewing each step of the writing strategy, a specific example used on the visual is expanded to include textual evidence from Show Me the Science by the CDC on hand washing. Practice and assessment should center on the students identifying the steps of the RACES writing strategy in a few more given examples before moving on to generate their own constructed responses paragraphs.
